In 1990, BLUECOM Co., Ltd. started out through the successful development of Buzzer, a sound component for mobile phones, and continued to put forth all of its efforts into the production and development of Buzzer up to 1998 and was recognized as an unrivaled enterprise for Buzzer production which enabled it to maintain a No.1 domestic market share. In response to market changes, BLUECOM diversified its business by development and production of micro-speakers, receivers, and vibration motors in mid-1998 and underwent dramatic growth. BLUECOM even achieved development and production of products that allowed them to integrate transducer parts that are used in mobile phones.

The Bluetooth headsets that were developed and produced in 2006 have since reached a sales volume of over 10 million units in over 50 countries. BLUECOM possesses the highest level of domestic technology development capabilities.
